Learn How to Use Electrical Stimulation in the Neuro Upper Limb

This practical hands on workshop will help you understand estim as a treatment modality and give you the confidence to set up patient programs. The workshop will focus on:

1. Understanding Electrical Stimulation (ES), Terminology, parameters, application, Indications and contra-indications

2. Evidence for the application of ES

3. Overview of therapeutic ES interventions

4. Practical individual and group work to provide opportunities to practice, ES for shoulders at risk of subluxation, ES for hand/wrist/thumb; and other electrode placements

5. Designing, implementing and handing over ES programs

6. Case Studies

You will need to bring your own Neurotrac Rehab device for the practical sessions or have access to one device between 2.
