The ABD Hand Based Orthosis is simple in design, comfortable and allows for easy application.
- Designed to position the thumb in opposition, support the index finger in extension to assist in opening the hand in preparation for grasp
- Used to facilitate a functional hand position for function and allow for repetitive task practice
- Facilitates tenodesis (SCI)
- Neoprene design allows for some passive finger extension to support the release of an object
- Neoprene sleeve on index finger can be trimmed as needed; to a level distal to circumferential stitching
- Allows for the addition of a thermoplastic C bar to further increase web space; a buddy strap to buddy the middle finger to index finger
- Soft, comfortable and durable; Easy application
- Three sizes – Small, Medium and Large, Left and Right
- Material: Nylon/Polyester. The neoprene rubber contains SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) and/or CR (Chloroprene Rubber)
