A practical, hands-on opportunity to develop your understanding of electrical stimulation (ES) as a treatment modality in neuro rehabilitation and build confidence in setting up patient programs.
Limited to 20 participants - designed to keep the practical component focused and interactive.
This workshop will focus on:
- Understanding ES - terminology, indications and contra-indications
- Evidence for the application of ES
- Practical applications of electrical stimulation - sensory applications, trigeminal nerve, motor functions and task specific training
- Implementing ES with other therapeutic modalities
- Case studies
Workshop includes: E Notes, AM tea, Lunch on your own. You will need to bring your own Neurotrac rehab unit/electrodes for the practical session.
