Targeted Vibration Therapy for Rehabilitation

The Rapid Release ProAM is a handheld vibration device designed to deliver targeted mechanical stimulation to muscles, tendons and soft tissue. The ProAm uses Rapid Release's patented high-frequency, short-stroke orbital vibration — promotes relaxation and recovery without force or discomfort.

Its versatility allows it to be incorporated into a range of musculoskeletal, sports and neurological rehabilitation approaches.

In addition to soft tissue treatment and muscle recovery, the ProAM may be used to provide sensory and proprioceptive input, supporting body awareness and active movement during rehabilitation.

The ProAM can complement other therapeutic interventions, including electrical stimulation, strengthening, active-assisted movement and functional task-specific training.

In clinical practice, targeted vibration may be applied to selected muscle and tendon regions, including the triceps, wrist extensors and lower limb muscles, as part of treatment aimed at supporting muscle activation and movement control. Note: These applications are informed by clinical experience, with further research required to establish their effectiveness.

Product features

  • Four vibration speeds: 6,000, 7,000, 8,000 and 9,000 vibrations per minute (100–150 Hz).
  • Short-stroke orbital vibration with approximately 1.6 mm amplitude.
  • Five integrated treatment surfaces.
  • Cordless and rechargeable. Charging time approx. 130 - 150mins using USB-C charging cable
  • Approximately 90–100 minutes of battery operation per full charge.
  • Automatic 10-Minute Shut-Off. The Rapid Release ProAM features an automatic shut-off function that switches the device off after 10 minutes of continuous operation. This built-in feature helps manage treatment duration and prevents the device from running continuously for extended periods. The device can be restarted if further treatment is required, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
